Our client, a world leader in the entertainment industry, lacked visibility on the performance of their various shows around the world. With a minimal business intelligence structure, the Quebec based company had very little data for strategic marketing decision-making. By collaborating with our team, the goal of the client was to obtain a granularity of data to better understand the context around their performance, as well as tools to support decisions in planning their future tours in a data-driven approach.

Our achievements

In order to meet the client needs, we set up an Agile project team and implemented a flexible and scalable integration architecture. This gives them the ability to integrate not only the highly disparate data of the various ticket suppliers but also demographic data, survey data, and competition data using Microsoft SSIS. We then carried out predictive and prescriptive analysis on this data in order to deliver geolocalized dashboards for operations and marketing on SAP BO suite tools. Finally, we participated in a major change management work, training end users on the tool developed and promoting the new solution internationally for better adoption.


These accomplishments have enabled the marketing and operations teams to make informed decisions about tour planning, ticket prices, and supply and inventory management in a completely autonomous manner. In addition, this project has helped to build a culture of agility within the marketing department, and to develop the culture of customer knowledge. Finally, with the scalability of the architecture that we put in place, the integration of new data providers will be greatly simplified in the future. All subsequent analytical projects will be based on the BI foundations of this major project.
