Montreal - January 26, 2006 - Our parner, NOAD
Americas, has annouced to us that their planned release
date for EQM 4.0 is July 2006.
The EQM 4.0 platform has been optimized for
BusinessObjects XiR2. NOAD Americas will be able to provide
a more flexible and performant environment as a result. The
new EQM will support all of the functionalities of EQM 3.2
but will also boast full support for BusinessObjects XI R2
Desktop Intelligence and Web Intelligence users. The architecture
will also support version control of Crystal Reports.
Some clients will appreciate the new "information
on demand" technique used which will speed up performance
tremendously. Version Control and Deployment Control will
also be separated. Other features will be brought in like
a customizable workflow and a special Tester module for QA
team members.
EQM4 is currently completing its beta phase
with much success with large roll-outs such as Air France.
