Our Partnership with BusinessObjects

Through force of circumstance, we have become very aligned with BusinessObjects technology. Our vision is that we can not be everything to everyone from day one. Value and expertise is built out of focus and the ability to deliver. While agileWORKFLOW intends on bringing together best of breed technologies, we see BusinessObjects as great focal point and place to start. Companies tend to associate BI with a BI vendor. BusinessObjects is the leader. To solidify our expertise and focus, we have also included many software solutions related to or specialized for BusinessObjects.

Our Passionate Leaders

Martin Bérubé, President

Mr. Bérubé founded and eventually left another successful venture, Odesia Solutions Inc., to found agileDSS Inc. in 2004 to realize his vision of a software tool that would eventually become agileWORKFLOW. Martin has been helping medium and large clients for over 10 years in setting up data warehousing solutions. He has acted as team lead, architect and data modeler. His brilliant consulting skills and vast knowledge and experience are brought to bear with agileWORKFLOW.

Louis-Michel Mathurin, P. Eng., VP Sales

Mr. Mathurin joined agileDSS a few months later to focus on development. He is the technical dynamo of the management team. The alpha version of agileWORKFLOW was the product of Mr. Mathurin's dedication and unrelentless work. His voracious reading appetite of all things technical are matched only by the ease in which he navigates through technology. Mr. Mathurin has now changed focus and is responsible for client service, support and our pre-sales team.

How We Got Here

Our team has built extensive experience defining, designing, building and delivering data warehouses and business intelligence solutions for over 10 years. Our clients have come to trust our sound advice and our delivery record, and we have developed successful consulting careers as a result. We still consult with clients to this day (see Services).

In 2004, one of our partners realized that a need in the market was not met. Data warehousing becomes complex fast when many subjects areas are integrated. The challenge to flexibly schedule all the various processes, with all their dependencies with logical events and with regards to each other, from ETL to BI tool, was and is still a great one. Furthermore, to monitor and manage the success or failure of any component from one, integrated console...simply did not exist.

All the while continuing our consulting engagements on a part-time basis, we set out to put down specifications and then develop a prototype to validate how feasible and how well we could fill that real business need, based on our practical experience with our many clients. We have succeeded in this initial phase. We are now continuing in our quest to bring you this software solution as well as other practical solutions to operate your BI platform. That is, in essence, what agileDSS is all about.

Today, we are well on our way to market a powerful tool which embodies this vision, agileWORKFLOW.
